Shapla has been implementing various development program and project for the socio-economic development, livelihood improvement, lifestyle and increase of dignity, gender and women empowerment of grassroots development partners (including women, men, child, adolescent, youth, elderly etc) which are shown (Program, Location and Fund) in the matrix below;
Micro Finance Program
Self-evident catalyst for performance development. Value addition, consumption and profit making are economic activities flowing at every level where capital is the main stimulus. Proper use of resources, opportunities and skills brings welfare and prosperity. But due to lack of capital, development and progress came to a halt. The present banking system is in favor of the affluent as well as the rich where the poor are almost deprived of its benefits. The organization sees the microfinance program as one of the key tools and strategies for poverty alleviation and women's empowerment and overall development, and believes that the poor can become financially self-sufficient if loans are provided in tolerant, easy and sustainable packages. The program is designed to meet the needs, financial status and needs of the target population. In the light of reality in the context of the evolution of time, the program has been adapted through diversity and positive change. Shapla has been implementing microfinance programs since 2001 to provide financial services to the underprivileged and poor people in the north-western part of the country and in greater Rajshahi through poverty alleviation. To this end, the members are being assisted in various sectors by providing basic, awakening, progressive, successful loan products. The Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation and various banks are providing financial support to microfinance programs.
Enrich Program
An integrated development initiative to address multidimensional poverty is a cutting-edge successful approach. The Enrich Program is a successful, fruitful, and well-coordinated effort that includes inclusive financial services, nutrition and health care, education and child development, elimination of social degradation, and addressing the needs of people of all ages in the community. This is one of the PKSF's poverty alleviation programs. Shapla Gram Unnayan Sangstha has been implementing this program since 2016 with the financial and technical support of PKSF. Enrich is a union-based development program. The main objective of this program is to empower the participating families through necessary counseling and assistance considering their current resources and capabilities, so that they first ensure maximum utilization of their resources and capabilities and gradually increase their resources and capabilities to come out of poverty and become socio-economically sustainable and dignified. Can establish life. In addition to the Union Parishad, local offices of various ministries, departments, directorates and directorates, local administration, other non-governmental and international organizations implementing various activities in the concerned unions, local conscious society and individuals have the necessary communication and coordination arrangements for the implementation of the Enrich program.
WASH Project
Water is one of the basic human needs of human beings. Another name for water is life. That means people cannot live without water. However, water must be safe (germ free and arsenic free). The lack of awareness of many families in the village about safe water has resulted in them drinking mostly contaminated and contaminated water and water without arsenic testing. As a result, arsenicosis can lead to a variety of stomach ailments and epidemics, including death. Shapla's skilled workforce has been providing personal communication and group sessions and advice to people at the highest levels of society, both individually and collectively, to raise awareness about safe drinking water and the use of safe water in cooking.
As the excreta disposal destroys the environment, people are affected by various diseases and pests. As a result, people get infected with various diseases including diarrhea, diarrhea and epidemics. Celebrating National and International Day
Traditionally, Shapla Gram Unnayan Sangstha has been celebrating various national and international days and festivals with due dignity. At different times of the year, Shapla celebrates different days with its own cooperation and supervision so that people can think of patriotism and human welfare. It awakens in their hearts a sense of the subject and they learn to think of human love and humanity.

During the days rallies, gatherings, discussion meetings are organized and various competitions and cultural events are organized. The Shapla Village Development Agency sometimes plays a significant role in the implementation of the national program by working jointly with the government every year. Shapla's staff, like every year in 2019, implemented the National Immunization Program, from polio vaccination, bringing children to vaccination centers, and later collaborating with health workers in various activities.
Shapla Cultural Development Activities
Through the establishment of Shapla Cultural School with its own funds, the organization is implementing cultural programs for the purpose of practicing, preserving, nurturing and developing the folk and progressive culture of rural Bengal. A group of skilled and quality teachers and trainers trained the underprivileged, poor and other children and adolescents in the area through various types of songs, dances, plays, presentations, recitation of poems, drawing etc. through hands-on training and training. The students who have already received education and training from Shapla Cultural School have left their mark of achievement in various cultural events at the upazila, district, divisional and state levels. At present, 45 students (33 boys and 12 girls) are receiving cultural education and training in various fields through cultural schools in different parts of the country.
Shapla Krira Development Activities
With the aim of building a sports-minded nation that is physically and mentally healthy, the organization is implementing sports related activities through the establishment of Shapla Sports Institute in 2016 on its own initiative. Here the teenagers of the region are organized and trained by skilled coaches to train them as skilled cricketers. Many teenage players have already trained at the district level. Since its inception, 100 adolescents have completed training courses and currently 26 adolescents are practicing as students to become skilled players in cricket. Students are being selected for training in football from this year and practice will start soon.
Shapla Technical Training Institute (STTI)
The organization believes that career-oriented education is the main driving force of the nation's economic development. According to the National Youth Policy, the 18-35 year old population of Bangladesh has been defined as young. The active participation of the youth in the socio-economic development of the country is therefore essential. If it is possible to engage the talents, creativity, confidence and work ethic of the youth in building the country, then the country will move towards the desired development step by step. Therefore, it is essential to involve the future leaders, policy makers and decision makers of the nation in every level of national development. Bangladesh will easily become a middle-income country within the time announced by the government if the potential potential young people are nurtured through proper training and technical / vocational education. In line with various plans of the government, JTI has been implementing work-oriented education. Shapla has established the Technical Training Institute (STTI) with the aim of contributing to the economy by ensuring the participation of youth in technical education and socio-economic development. STTI aims to establish family and individual status by increasing the financial capacity of the trainees by providing skills development training, providing skilled manpower in line with market demand, productive wage based employment and self-employment, so that they contribute to the overall development of the country. Be. STTI is an institution registered by Bangladesh Board of Technical Education with an identification of 23372.
Elderly Development Program
Today's youth is tomorrow's elder. Everything in the golden age is the work of the elders. Today's atmosphere has been created by their hard work, intensive work effort, me and us. Sixty Years after their dreamy colorful activities are becoming colorless. Elderly people are not a burden for the society but if they get a sense of responsibility and a little cooperation, they too can be beneficial for the family, the society and the country. We all have a responsibility to make their last days happy. The number of elderly people in the country is now around one crore. In 2025, this number will increase to (About) one and a half crore. Human life is much more competitive now. But these seniors are not able to participate in the competition. We are living in modern society with their talent and hard work. Many of those who have done so much for us are helpless today. Disease and grief have taken up residence in their bodies, they do not have the ability to work. Especially many elders living in villages are very helpless today due to various reasons. Shapla Gram Unnayan Sangstha started the quality of life development program for the elderly in 2016 with the initiative and direct cooperation of Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation to stand by their side, for their welfare, to raise awareness and sense of responsibility in the family and society. The program is being co-financed by PKSF and Shapla.
Goals / Main Objectives: To remove the existing barriers identified by the elderly population, to improve the quality of life and to build an elderly friendly society.
Housing Project
Housing is one of the most important basic human needs. However, the grassroots development partners living in the work area do not have the financial capacity to build safe and fairly standard housing. Subject to consideration, the company has been implementing housing projects in Tanore, Mohanpur, Bagmara, Puthia, Durgapur and Bagha upazilas of Rajshahi district since 2013 with the financial and strategic support of Bangladesh Bank. Through this scheme, very low interest (3%) housing loans are provided to the financially vulnerable families to build quality houses. The company has already provided housing loan assistance to 135 families at the rate of 70,000 taka (seventy thousand) per family.
Vulnerable Group Development (VGD) Project
Shapla Gram Unnayan Sangstha is working tirelessly to improve the socio-economic and living standards of the people living in the area. It is imperative to involve women living in financially and socially vulnerable, vulnerable, vulnerable and inhumane areas in their development activities and if this is done they will be able to free themselves from inhumane life and contribute to the overall development of the family. The Shapla Gram Unnayan Sangstha has been implementing the Vulnerable Group Development (VGD) project since 2016 with the financial and strategic support of the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Through the project being implemented, the organization is currently providing various assistance to 2064 helpless and destitute women through 6 groups in 6 unions of Atrai upazila of Naogaon district.
Prevention of Smoking and Drug
Drug use is a significant obstacle to health development and the money spent on it hinders family development and disrupts social development and the environment, including the education of drug addicts. Its main objective is to make the people of the area aware (About) health education as well as prevention of drug abuse. Knowing that health is the root of all happiness, a poor person cannot follow all the rules of health care. Because they are ignorant and unconscious (About) it. Shapla understands the matter deeply. Through them, various awareness raising activities have been implemented to prevent smoking and drug use.
Activities Against Child Marriage, Dowry and Violence Against Women
Shapla Gram Unnayan Sangstha has been conducting activities based on the issue of child marriage, dowry and violence against women since 2005. Shapla has been conducting sessions on child marriage and the evils of dowry in different groups in her area of work Awareness is growing.
Social Forestry
Social forestry plays an important role in maintaining the natural balance, getting the required rainfall and creating a healthy environment. For economic development and supply of fuel through fruit and timber production, Shapla distributes saplings of forest, fruit and medicinal plants in the work areas at nominal price only. They are especially planted in backyards, ponds and other safe places so that people can enjoy the fruits in a short time.
Meritorious Honors
Shapla has been awarding Shapla Meritorious for the purpose of evaluating the neglected and deprived talented white minded people of the region. Crests, certificates and cash prizes were awarded in honor of Meritorious . Gunijan honors are awarded on a variety of issues. Topics worth mentioning are music, education, literature, human rights, agri-entrepreneurial culture, creative innovation etc.
Skill for Employment Investment Program (SEIP)
Creating human resources in line with market demand through skills development training and ensuring more productive wage based employment and self-employment after training to enhance the financial capacity of trainees and establish human dignity of family and individual so that they can sustainably improve their quality of life. Is implementing Skier for Employment Investment Program (SEIP) in collaboration with PKSF. The main goal of this program is to develop skills and create employment. Unemployed adolescents from poor and marginalized families and young men and women are the main participants in this project. The age of the trainee is at least 15 years and the educational qualification is SSC pass from 5th class. The trainee does not have to bear any cost for education or training. The duration of the ongoing course in collaboration with PKSF is 03 months.
Provision of Stipends to Poor and Meritorious Students
Children are the best asset of the country and the nation and the architect of the golden future of the nation is well known all over the world. Today's children are the main citizens and the main leaders of the country in the future. We all want beautiful, happy and prosperous countries and nations. In order to make this dream come true, we have to raise our children beautifully and properly. Shapla Village Development Organization believes that if children can be developed as human beings with full human dignity and due dignity, they will be able to play a leading role in building a happy and prosperous country by playing a proper and quality role. With this in mind, the organization has been providing stipends since 2001 to create opportunities for meritorious learners to be well-established in the society through proper development of their talents. This stipend provided by the organization is being implemented from the own income / funds of the organization and with the financial support of the donor organization.
Sub-Formal Education Activities
The organization is working relentlessly to spread the light of education in the neglected and remote areas of the country. With the support of BRAC Bangladesh, sub-formal education activities have been implemented by setting up 05 schools in 5 remote villages in Mohanpur upazila of Rajshahi district by ensuring free supply of all materials to the poor and helpless poor children. After the successful completion of the third class in the schools, the students are given certificates and all the process of admission in the fourth class in the formal schools run by the government is assisted and monitored. The organization has launched a massive campaign to ensure primary education and to create awareness in the work area so that poor and helpless children are not deprived of education. As a result, the number of children in the work area is constantly declining and the path to higher education is being facilitated.
Training in Human Resource Development of the Organization
Training is the main means of developing skills, abilities and commitment. Because training helps bring (About) positive changes in people's knowledge, skills, behavior and attitudes or attitudes. The organization has been emphasizing on training from the very beginning to increase the capacity, skills and commitment of the staff and grassroots development partners involved in the program, including the successful implementation and improvement of the program. All the activities related to capacity building of the staff and grassroots development partners of the organization are conducted through the training unit under the Department of Human Resource Development. The purpose of the training cell is to develop the capacity and capability of the human resources involved in the development activities and to act as a resource center.
Bee Farming Project
Shapla’s is an important project for beekeeping. That project Shapla has been implementing for the last 8 (eight) years. The project is very useful in increasing the production of agricultural products and conserving the environment. The honey collected from this project is extremely beneficial for the human body and it is possible to make huge profits by selling it.
